Trip to Canada: the trip up

A little over two weeks ago, we left on a road trip to visit family in Canada. It was the first road trip of this length we have made as a family! Our first day, we made it up to Ashland, Oregon. We enjoyed a walk through Lithia Park, with its clear creek and quiet shady trails. Our hotel provided a little two much excitement for the little ones, and sleep was a long time in coming. We got on the road the next morning and made it up to our next stop in Tacoma.

In Tacoma, we had a quick visit with a friend. Due to heavy traffic, it was a short visit, but we enjoyed walking along the Puget Sound, watching the trains come through the park and the warm evening! The next morning we enjoyed a more leisurely breakfast at our hotel and made a stop at the Bass Pro Shop down the road.

Oliver enjoyed the shop with all the animals, fish and neat vehicles.

That afternoon, we made it up to Jordan's grandparents home. We enjoyed some dinner and our first trip to Bear Creek Park, with Jordan's Grandparents and Aunt M.

 More to come. :)
