A couple of weeks ago, we had some lovely weather and some extra time for projects around here. Jordan had planned to make a bird feeder with Oliver to hang outside our window. He came home with a large sack of bird seed from Home Depot and later they drew some pictures of their bird feeder. While Oliver worked with me in the garden, Jordan got everything ready to put together with Oliver.

The bird feeder has been a great success. The birds love it and we get to watch them come to our window all day. We love the little finch family with orange and red heads! It was a fun project for Oliver and is something enjoyable to have right at our window.
And, in case you noticed Oliver's shirt and didn't already know this- yes, Oliver is going to be a big brother! We are expecting another little one around the beginning of August.
